Indian Blanket
(Gaillardia pulchella)

Description
Annual. Native to Central and Western United States. Low growing, sun-loving plants that are easy to grow from seed. Flowers are warm shades of red, yellow and gold. Leaves are soft and hairy. Drought tolerant.
Uses
Borders, ground cover, slopes great for cut flowers.
Seeding Rates
One ounce will cover up to 125 square feet. Plant in full sun after danger of frost has past.
Care
Requires little care. Infrequent waterings as necessary. Often reseeds.
Availability
Packets available in 1/2 oz. size. Approximately 4,000 seeds per packet.
