Description
Perennial. Spreads and grows to one foot high and reseeds. Native to South America. Grows in Southern California and other arid regions of the western United States. Flower colors are mixed red, yellow, orange and maroon.
Uses
Ground cover, parking strips, borders, wildflower mixtures, slopes and hillsides.
Seeding Rates
30 lbs. per acre. Seed in spring. Blooms from spring to summer. Prefers light sterile soil.
Care
Low water requirement. Drought tolerant. Prefers sunny locations. Flowers close when shaded or sky is overcast.
Availability
Packets available in 1/2 oz. size. Approximately 1,500 seeds per packet.
