“Royal Blue” is the ultimate in turf; color, density and texture for any turf blend. Even though Bluegrasses require higher maintenance than other grasses, the varieties chosen for this blend exhibit improved disease tolerance for
western lawns.

Uses
Traffic areas where appearance and low maintenance are important. Lawns, High visual areas, Cemeteries, Shady sites in low traffic areas. “Royal Blue” is an excellent choice for a luxurious turf grass.
Seeding Rates
New turf: 4-6 pounds per 1000 square feet (175 – 275 pounds per acre).
Overseeding: 1-3 pounds per 1000 square feet (45-130 pounds per acre).
Establishment
Germination: 21 days with proper irrigation.
First mowing: Approximately 45 days.
First limited use: Approximately 60 days.
Adaptability & Care

pH range: 5.5 to 6.5 preferred, 4.7 to 8.5 tolerated
Fertilization: 2 to 4 pounds of actual nitrogen per year in a balanced fertilizer
Mowing height: 2-3 inches in warm seasons, 1 1/2 – 2 inches in cool seasons.
