A blend of the best improved bermudagrasses available. Bermuda Dunes offers the best qualities in seeded varieties. The varieties used in this blend are of medium fine texture with much improved density over common bermuda. Because of these qualities, Bermuda Dunes exhibits improved wear tolerance making it an ideal choice for sportsfields or high traffic areas.

Uses
Because of its increased turf density and fine texture, Bermuda Dunes is the ideal choice for golf courses, sportsfields, cemeteries, parks and commercial developments.
Seeding Rates
New seeding: 4 pounds of Bermuda Dunes blend per 1000 square feet (175 pounds per acre)
Overseeding: 1-2 pounds per 1000 square feet (45-90 pounds per acre).
Establishment
Germination: 10-14 days with proper irrigation.
First mowing: Approximately 21 days. No special mower is required.
First limited use: One week after first mowing depending upon rate of establishment. Note that Bermuda is a warm season grass that actively grows from April-October.
Adaptability & Care
Growing region: Temperate, sub-tropical and tropical climate zones.
Soils: Sandy to heavy clay. Will not tolerate shade.
pH range: 5.5 to 8.5
Fertilization: 1 pound of actual nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft./month during the growing season (Apr-Oct).
Use a balanced fertliizer with a 3:1:2 ratio of NPK with sulphur.
Mowing height: Minimum recommended mowing height is 3/8 inch.
