Oregon Sugar Pod II
Snowpea Type, Edible Pod, Heavy Yielding
These are popular edible pod peas that produce tender, flavorful pods. They are also called snowpeas because growers in China found that they were not bothered by light snow. Fresh peas lose their sweetness soon after harvest which is why they are more popular with home gardeners than supermarket shoppers.
