Annual. California Native. Grows 8-12 inches tall. Reseeds. A fast growing member of the sunflower family. Flowers are 2 inches across. Drought tolerant.

Biennial. Often grown as an annual. A member of the carnation family. Plants grow to 18 inches high with clusters of mixed double flowers.

Annual. Native to Europe. Naturalized throughout North America. Grows easily and quickly from seed. Plants grow 2 to 3 feet high. Prolific bloomer in spring and summer. Colors in red, white, pink and bicolors.


Shasta Daisy

Perennial. Native to Europe, naturalized throughout North America. Introduced by California Horticulturist Luther Burbank. Hardy plants for summer and fall bloom. Grows 2 to 4 feet high with flowers up to 4 inches across.

Annual. Native to Southern Europe. Grows to 14 inches high. Competes well with grasses. Easy to grow and reseeds. Hardy and deep rooted. Drought tolerant.



Perennial shrub. Native to Mediterranean region. Grows up to 3 feet high with up to 6 foot spread. Flowers mauve to purple in spring/summer. Sun loving, fast growing, drought tolerant, fire resistant, and salt tolerant.

Annual. Native to Morocco, naturalized throughout the U.S. Showy single, daisylike flowers in red, yellow, orange, white and purple, 18 to 30 inches high. Reseeds. Drought tolerant.


Ox Eye Daisy

Perennial. Native to Europe, naturalized throughout North America. Ox Eye is a smaller version of Shasta Daisy with earlier bloom. Grows 1 to 3 feet high. Flowers held above foliage. Summer and Fall bloom.
