Beans are among the most popular vegetable produced by home gardeners. Snap beans, also known as garden, green or string beans are grown for their pods. Pole beans bear over a longer period of time than bush beans and yield more in the same space. Although pole beans are natural climbers, some type of support such as trellises should be used. |
