Beets are not only grown for their roots but their greens are even better nutritionally. Though they prefer cool weather they can grow in a wide range of conditions. They can be easily canned, pickled or frozen for year round eating. This variety, “Ruby Queen” is an All-America Selections Winner meaning that it has been tested by a network of independent judges who determined that its garden performance was superior. |
