As its name suggests Shady Lawn is a mixture of fine textured, shade tolerant grasses that blends well with other grasses for a uniform look. Should be used in areas with no more than 50% shade.

"Shady Lawn" is an excellent mix for shady areas desiring permanent turf on:
Golf Courses, Cemeteries, Parks, Commercial developments, Residential lawns.

New turf: 5-7 pounds per 1000 square feet (250-300 pounds per acre).

Germination: 6-12-18 days with proper irrigation.
First mowing: Approximately 35 days.
First limited use: Approximately 30 days.

Climactic Conditions: All (except high altitude)
Soils: Sandy to heavy clay. Not good for extremely wet or shaded areas.
pH range: 5.5 to 8.5
Fertilization: 2 to 4 pounds of actual nitrogen per 1000 sq ft per year. Use a balanced fertilizer with a 3:1:2 ratio of NPK with sulphur.
Mowing height: 1-1/2 to 2 inches.
