Introduced from Europe and adapted to most climates of North America. Creeping Red Fescue is medium to dark green in color and reproduces by tillers and very short rhizomes. This grass performs well in open sun and moderate shade. It exhibits a very fine almost wiry texture and when left unmowed grows up to 15 inches high and lays over giving a meadow effect. |
