AZ-1 Kikuyugrass is an improved selection from the variety Whittet. It is less vigorous and non-invasive than common or Whittet. AZ-1 was developed and introduced by Arizona Plant Breeders, Inc. and Arizona Kikuyu LTD. It is a warm season grass that is more cold tolerant than bermudagrass and holds its color longer in winter months, especially near the coast. |
